Performing preliminary vulenerability audit or assessment testing work entails certain risks. Nevertheless, BLACKHAT Solutions believes that performing these tests in a systematic and controlled manner is an effective way to test the security of User's online systems. It specifically allows User to pinpoint vulnerabilities before someone else does. BLACKHAT Solutions will exercise due professional care and competence in the performance of the Services. However, User must acknoledge that the following may be experienced during online testing: Disruption or degradation of systems and services, Data loss or transformation of systems and services, Loss of system or application integrity, Information disclosure from systems and services and or Emails and other messagews may be generated by the systems tested. Some of these risks can be minimised by ensuring: The latest software updates have been installed, There is adequuate CPU resources remaining on systems and services under test to handle an increase in network and transactional based traffic, There is adequate free Internet bandwidth to handle an increase in network/internet based traffic and or There are full backups of all systems and services under test. User acknowledge that preliminary technical testing cannot identify all possible vulnerabilities, configurations or weaknessess. Instead, the BLACKHAT Solutions team will attempt to identify vulnerabilities on as many online connected systems as possible in the alloted time, and to examine penetrated computers and/or systems for business function and data content. This type of activity more accurately reflects the nature of hacking and helps illustrate the potential exploits of an unauthorised intruder.
